Diving in Raa Atoll
Raa Atoll or North Maalhosmadulu Atoll is one of the northern most visited atolls of the Maldives. It is separated from Baa Atoll by the 5km wide Hani Kandu or channel, located only 20km east of South Miladhunmadulu Atoll, a very remote atoll in the upper north of the Maldives. Raa Atoll is almost 70km long and 30km wide, bordered by a chain of islands on its western side.
With more than 90 islets Raa Atoll offers many fast flowing channels, an enormous amount of marine life and some of the best beaches in the Maldives. Because of the ever present current, advanced divers will be more comfortable then beginners, but with this many pinnacles, inner lagoon dive sites and colorful fish life it will attract anybody, also non divers.

Dive Club Maldives is pleased to offer you a true Maldivian resort experience. Furaveri Island Resort & Spa is the newest addition to our dive centers. Our dive center is located next to the Reception area at Furaveri Island Resort & Spa which gives easy access to the dive boat from main jetty. We offer a full range of PADI Scuba Diving courses and programs, starting from Discover Scuba Diving up to PADI Divemaster. While most dives along borders of Raa Atoll offer stronger currents and suitable conditions for advanced divers, our house reef and dive sites inside the atoll are perfect for courses and beginners. For full range of our services,
Furaveri housereef has something to offer for any diver regardless of their experience level. Due to its diversity and abundance of fish life, our house reef is surely one of the most beautiful ones in the Maldives. Eagle rays, barracudas, batfish and thousands of fusiliers are just some of the highlights. Experienced divers can go for unguided housereef dives at any time of the day after finishing their orientation dive with one of our dive guides there first. Beginners will do most of their training dives at the housereef which also has shallow areas with sandy bottom. Entry and exit points for divers and snorkelers are marked on both sides of the island for easy access.
