• Habitat: occasionally coastal shallow water , deeper offshore (around 100 feet)

  • Location: warmer waters world-wide

  • Size: range between 1.5 meters

  • Description: whitetip reef sharks and white pattern on their fins. They are slow moving but are active throughout the day and night. Sometimes they can been seen sleeping on the bottom.

  • Diet: bony fish, shells

  • Feeding Habits: aggressive and feeds on large schools

  • Lifespan: between 12-16 years depending on gender

  • Offspring: 1-5 pups per litter

  • Status: No Threatened
