Description: They have broad flat bodies, short snouts, and long fins. Gills are located along the head, while they eyes are located on the top of the body. Their multiple colors help with camouflage, and several types are nocturnal.
Diet: Depending on the species, electric rays may eat fishes, worms, and crustaceans. Adult Atlantic rays consume eels, flounders, and small sharks.
