Habitat: occasionally coastal shallow water , deeper offshore (around 100 feet)
Location: warmer waters world-wide
Size: range between 1.5 meters
Description: whitetip reef sharks and white pattern on their fins. They are slow moving but are active throughout the day and night. Sometimes they can been seen sleeping on the bottom.
Diet: bony fish, shells
Feeding Habits: aggressive and feeds on large schools
Lifespan: between 12-16 years depending on gender
Offspring: 1-5 pups per litter
Status: No Threatened
Threatened by: fining, and bycatch
